Consignment Sales of Musical Instruments

Do they even want to sell it... It's such an important instrument.

"Honestly, with consignment work, it's all about the amount you get paid, right?"
I feel that is absolutely correct.

It's only natural that when parting with an instrument you've cherished for years, you'd want to get the best price possible.

Moreover, when offered a price far lower than expected, I feel disappointed and even ashamed of my own expectations.
We strive to meet our customers' needs to the fullest extent possible.

What thoughts have accompanied its ownership? Where did its charm lie, and what was cherished about it?
We discover the value that lies beyond mere specifications—the unique worth inherent to each instrument—and pass it on to the next owner.

I'm not going to sugarcoat things.

When parting with a precious instrument, regret is inevitable.
Given the recent surge in vintage instrument prices, I've often thought, "I wish I hadn't let that one go back then."

Strangely enough, I often hear people say, "I'm glad I bought it!"
You rarely hear people say, "I'm glad I let go!"

But even after such regrets, I want them to think positively: "I'm sure someone else is cherishing them now, and they're doing well." So I'll do my very best to ensure our next customer will also be able to cherish them.

The previous owner had a keen eye and possessed some truly remarkable instruments.
To ensure you can treasure it, we will prepare it with confidence so we can proudly present it to you.

To that end, I'd like us to start by having a frank and open discussion about how we can ensure the next person is satisfied.

Even if you're not ready to part with your instrument right now, feel free to ask just to get an idea of its value.

Feel free to contact us anytime.

My grandfather told my father before he passed away, "If you ever find yourself in trouble, sell this bassoon." While sorting through my grandfather's belongings, I remembered that conversation. After doing a little research, I discovered it was a valuable instrument.

I contacted various buyers, but most shops responded with things like, "It's been so long, so this is the best we can do," or "We can't really handle this item," which was far from the response I had hoped for.

However, at this shop, the very first thing they said was, "You shouldn't just give up that instrument so easily."

When I showed you the instrument, I was truly delighted that you listened not only to the appraisal amount but also to the story of my memories with my grandfather. I wholeheartedly trust that all of you staff will pass on the bassoon my grandfather cherished to the next person.
