In the long history of the Fender Telecaster, there has been one model that has set the standard for perfection: the 1952 Blackguard, and this Telecaster with a rosewood slabboard fingerboard, which was produced from 1959 to mid-1962. Even today, obtaining an original Telecaster is an eternal dream for many Telecaster fans.
This 1960 Telecaster features the classic blond color, lightweight ash body, and slab-type rosewood fingerboard. The conduit unique to ash wood contains a rich sound and resonates beautifully even when played live, and the sound of the body itself is an attractive feature of this instrument.
The neck shape is also superb, not just a C shape, but an exquisite grip with a slight edge in the low position and thickness toward the high position. This creates a comfortable grip that makes the player's hands feel less tired even after long hours of playing, and makes the player naturally want to continue playing.
In terms of the circuitry, the front preset tones of those days have been removed, and the tone control has been modified to work in the mix position and the front position as well. This specification also makes it easy to handle.
The sound image has a solid core with beautifully layered overtones. The high frequency range has no harshness, and the crispness and balance of a Telecaster can be felt both in the front and rear. This one-of-a-kind tone brings you a special experience that can only be had with an original vintage Telecaster.
