The "KR Indigo" series plunger mute was jointly produced by Kenny Rampton, known as the trumpet player of "Jazz at Lincoln Center," and Hirschman, an American mute manufacturer.

The large blue silhouette has a distinctive appearance with a one-cent coin handle.
