Piston buttons are cute
Please take a look at these photos.
When it comes to trumpets, the most standard option is this white mother-of-pearl.
In contrast, black mother-of-pearl is easy to replace and looks incredibly cool.
This one has an even more dazzling sheen than the black mother-of-pearl. I wonder if it’s abalone shell.
On the other hand, “Simple is Best”—the all-metal ones are pretty appealing, too.
Some manufacturers even embed gemstones. This button features a mix of turquoise and opal.
Other options include lapis lazuli and tiger’s eye, as well as designs featuring birthstones or even wood.
You can get these by ordering custom-made piston buttons or by having your current piston buttons modified.
