Freddie Hubbard, Chuck Findlay, Jerry Hay, and many other greats have used this maker.
While various manufacturers have come out with wonderful models inspired by Calikio, many people are still fascinated by the rugged design and overwhelming fat sound of the original Calikio, and many are probably still using it.

After several months of trial and error, we have reproduced the piston spring for calicio based on the original spring made of stainless steel and slightly barrel-shaped.
