Hello.🔵 I'm Tsushima.
Hello everyone,
Do you like Telecasters?
Telecasters are the best, aren't they?
It has a sound and feel that is hard to find anywhere else.
The greatest advantage of the TL type is its sharp and punchy sound from the fixed bridge.
Therefore, for those who use a wide range of guitars, including Fender guitars, the disadvantages of the TL type areNo vibrato systemThis is a disadvantage for those who use a wide range of guitars, including Fender.
I want to make my telecaster a tremolo!
I am often obsessed with such desires.
Even the original Fender released a Telecaster with Bigsby in the 60's. There has been a demand for a TL-type tremolo with an arm for a long time! The demand for "I want to rock a TL-type guitar with an arm" has existed for a long time.
Recently, "SUPER VEE" known as used by MIYAVI Maverick" tremolo unit, which is known to be used by MIYAVI, has also become a topic of conversation, but it is not something that can be easily obtained because it cannot be mounted unless the backside of the body is greatly zigzagged like a strat. Once it is installed, it is not possible to completely restore it to its original state, so it takes courage to do so.
Bigsby is an excellent match for Telecas, including its design. However, it requires drilling several screw holes in conspicuous places and the bridge is not a TL type to begin with, so the sound will be quite different. It would be quite a good guitar, though. It is nangy in terms of the theme of this project.
In such a situation, this one appeared like a comet,Vega-Trem VT2 Teletremis.
This bridge is a vibrato system that can be easily installed on a Telecas without the need for counterbore processing.
It's amazing!
This is what it looks like when you put it on. It has a cool "you're doing something" look to it, without detracting from the Telecaster's image.
The arm with the VT logo stands out, but there is also a version without. (The price remains the same)
But why is arming possible without the need for a counterbore process?
The secret is this.
... Huh?
For a moment, I don't understand.
What do you mean?
The vibrato system requires, after allSpring.is a "spring",
The spring is made to fit the Telecas strings by using the string-through holes, eliminating the need for any modification.
The torque can be adjusted by attaching a part to the back side of the Telecath and tightening it.
Amazing.
Fixing the front is as simple as fastening the plate part, which is independent of the bridge, with two screws, and then clicking it together with the spring-loaded bridge body and nails mentioned earlier.
You can't open the screws!
Some of you may be thinking, "Why can't the screws be opened?
However, since these screw holes are hidden right under the plate, it is possible to open the screw holes without any modification. The screw holes are hidden just below the plate, so that the marks will not be visible even if the bridge is put back on the original bridge.
