California Reclaimed Wood.
California Streetwood Collection
The California Streetwood Collection was created in cooperation with Street Tree Revival.
Street Tree Revival is a company that operates a program to save trees that would otherwise be buried in landfills. By recycling urban forest trees that have been cut down due to storms, disease, or aging into logs that can be used for furniture, musical instruments, and other purposes, the company is helping to preserve the environment and provide beautiful wood with a variety of stories to tell.
Based on Street Tree Revival's insight, each master builder carefully selects lumber. A total of 13 beautiful, one-of-a-kind guitar models that highlight the materials and characteristics of these woods, andBassthat highlight the materials and characteristics of these woods.
Some of the woods used in the collection were once part of beloved amusement park attractions, others were taken from local parks, and many others are not normally found in the Fender lineup.
The finish is also thinned to allow the wood's aroma to be enjoyed.BassThere are also guitars made of yakisugi, a traditional Japanese technique, and other guitars that not only look beautiful, but also showcase the skill of the builders in making the most of the characteristics of the wood!
The following guitars have just arrived at our store.California Streetwoods Roasted Ash & Elm P Bass NOSis one of the master builders, Jason Smith.
Elm wood, worthy of the name "Streetwoods", was used for this bass.BassElm is the Japanese name for elm. Elm is the Japanese name for elm. It is a type of tree that is familiar to Japanese people as a roadside tree.
As with the other works, the design does not use fancy decorations, but rather focuses on the original beauty of the tree.BassThe shape is based on the original Precisione, with a few modern updates, and the result is a piece that combines the beauty of the wood with Fender's tradition and modern functional beauty.
