Suddenly, have you ever lived near your workplace?
Yes, this time it is 100% personal.
Many of you probably live a few dozen minutes by train or car to your workplace.
It's hard to live in a complicated area, with few residential areas, in the heart of the city.
I lived, in Shin-Okubo, for a year and a half.
For us, Shin-Okubo is the town of musical instruments, but for the public, it is the town of Korean Wave.
If you have never been down to Shin-Okubo station, it may be hard to imagine, but the street is so crowded on weekends with lots of Korean stores.

A place where people live?
Many people may think so. That's right. (Huh?)
But in fact, if you go to the north side, you will find an incredibly quiet residential area. You won't see any tourists or even the Korean word "ka".
It looks surprisingly nice, doesn't it?
Even though the rent is not that bad, you can walk to your office in 5 minutes, and if you want to go shopping on your days off, you can walk to Shinjuku station in 15 minutes. You don't even have to worry about the last train.
I don't want to live here for 5 years or so, at all.
