First of all, this is a continuation of the introduction of the ordered models.
This is the first model to arrive! For those who are not so keen on too eccentric shapes...
Africa 5 Strings
This is a model that was not included in last year's shipment.
We made a flashy barre top, saying "For those who don't want a shape that is too eccentric...! LOL!
This is the only F company-like head shape in the MGBass lineup that we have in stock.
I chose the lollipop type pegs, which I personally like, and they are very cute with the colossal shape of the body.
I will be honest about the wood selection here.
MGBass has a tremendous number of wood combinations to choose from (for Africa, there are 5 body types, 8 body top types, 11 neck types, and 18 fingerboard types!)
I want to try some crazy combinations! I want to try out the most bizarre combinations," but at the same time, I am thinking, "What kind of sound should I aim for? What is it for Japanese people...?BassMr. Tanaka, the repair person, and I discussed and decided,
I decided to go with Africa because of my personal feeling that "no domestic maker seems to combine this kind of sound" and "it has such a cute atmosphere! I chose a necklace with a purple heart line.

Also of note is the only wooden pickup cover in the lineup!

Desert 6 strings
This is also the first time we have received this model.
The body top is made of two different woods, which MGBass calls a "double top"!
It consists of a curly maple/wenge double top, mahogany back, and a ziricote fingerboard.
Last year's arrival of theInfinity Ghost 6The Ziricote fretboard used on last year's Infinity Ghost 6 was very cool, so we chose it because we wanted to use it on a 6-string guitar with a wide fretboard surface.
This one turned out to be even cooler looking than I had imagined, to be honest!
In terms of the type of wood used, there are many hard woods, but by using mahogany for the back of the body, which affects the sound the most, I think we were able to achieve a warm sound.
The straightforward sound of the EMG pickups, the warm sound of the Bartolini preamp, and the wood's resonance all work in balance to create a sound that is clear, but with the warmth of the wood.
