Kamaka Ukulele gave birth to the founder Samuel Kaiyariii Kamaka, who launched a private "Kamaka Ukulele & Guitar Works" in Kimiki, Hawaii, in Kaimki, Hawaii. The head logo was leaning on shellfish after the Gold Label period from the '40s and '60s and the White Label period after the '70s, with Pineapple Ukulele, who acquired U.S.A. Patent in 1928. From 2001 to the present, which became a modern design, it showed off the front line of the ukulele scene. Samuel Jr. and Fredrick, who took over Sam Kamaka, who passed away in December 1953, revolutionized the tradition of Kamaka Ukulele by Chris, Casey, and Fred Jr. continuing. With Sam's words, "If you make an instrument and give the family name, don't make a junk."

Currently, Chris is a production manager, Casey is a custom / artist relation, and Fred Jr. is a business manager and is an important pillar of Kamaka. Among them, Casey, who is in charge of the custom category / artist, is a person who has the trust of famous artists such as Jake Simaburo and Brian Trentino, and is responsible for the center of the Kamaka Sound.
From around the age of 13, he went to a factory during summer vacation and holidays, and was officially in charge of Casey, who was helping Camaka, such as putting head logo and stringing strings, and was just in high school. Under George Morita in the early 1970s and early '80s, when a customer requested a special model, he started making it little by little. It is said that bracing processing is similar to the basic principle of classical guitar production, so he referred to books and articles from guitar makers and participated in various guitar maker workshops. I installed it into my work and developed my own style. Especially when producing artist's custom models, everything is adjusted to all of the accuracy so that the instrument's ability can be maximized. Wood and materials are customized, and the top materials are maintained with a certain amount of accuracy. It seems that the normal production line is made with a certain dimension and then fine -tuned, but the custom model seems to be adjusted from the beginning. Camaka's custom model, which is handled by Lucia, who continues to innovate while inheriting a great time, cost, and Casey, is a gem that boasts the quality and sound that is suitable for calling the "high end of the ukulele".
