良い音って何だよ!!!! - TC楽器 - TCGAKKI

Good evening good evening
This is Naito from Advance Guitars.
Summer is finally here, and what temperature do you set your air conditioner at while sleeping?
If you don't have a futon of the right thickness, the futon may go away while you are sleeping, making you cold or, conversely, hot, which is very worrisome because it affects the quality of your sleep.

This time, we will discuss the eternal theme for musicians"Good sound."which is an eternal theme for musicians.

However, I can't draw any conclusions!
Why is that? The definition of good sound changes depending on the situation. The reason is that the definition of good sound changes depending on the situation.

For example, I can play that instrument solo by myself and it sounds good.
Have you ever had the experience of playing an instrument solo by yourself and thinking it sounds good, but when you bring it to band practice, it doesn't fit in? Have you ever had such an experience?

Another example that goes a little deeper is the "60's vintage guitar" that is highly regarded as an instrument.
Put it in a song with a modern four beat rhythm and electro instruments, and you will feel as if you are in a different space.

Like thisIt is possible to have a good sound in one situation and not have a good sound in another.

However, if you assume too much about every situation in this story, and if you become uneasy about the instrument even though you feel it sounds good, it will be a waste of time and energy.
So what do you do?Choose the right instrument for the right place and the right situation.
More specifically, we should compose the situation in a way that the instrument pulls you along.
I think this is a good idea.

In a work recording, of course, the instrument is specified. That is where a third party's opinion comes in.
However, I can play it by myself personally, think it sounds good by myself, and enjoy playing it. Do I need a third party's opinion there?

It is the user who decides the value of the instrument. This is not about price, but whether you like the instrument or not.
Of course, I have my own criteria for a good sound.
Attack, decay, sustain, release, the balance of these and the balance of the upper tone structure, how the sense of pitch is heard, etc. But this is also subjective, based on my past musical experience.

Based on this, Naito's personal opinion is as follows.Acoustic guitars that Naito personally feels have a "good soundI would like to introduce one acoustic guitar that I personally feel has a "good sound".

Sumi / S-L00-W

This is the L-00 type of Mr. Eiichi Sumi, a veteran lure maker who is proud of Japan.

To be honest, there is nothing Gibson-like about the sound.

Of course, the ebony fretboard/bridge and walnut side backs show that there is no intention to bring it closer to Gibson.
The scale is 628mm, which is a medium scale, but the sound is very clear.
This is because the balance of the upper notes including overtones above the fundamental is very good, so the pitch is conveyed very accurately.

I think this is a very good choice when the role of the acoustic guitar is not to fill the bandwidth, but to convey the chords well.

I've interjected some advertising, but in any case, the act of being stingy with other people's instruments is just sad as a lover of musical instruments.
If you think an instrument is cool and sounds good, you should love it as much as you can.
