[Features]
Yamaha triple horns are rarely seen new in music stores because they are made to order. The high potential of this instrument has been recognized worldwide. The world was made aware of the high potential of this instrument by the 1998 performance of Schumann's Konzertstück for four horns and large orchestra by the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Barenboim. The concert was a great success. For this concert, Stefan Dohr chose a Yamaha full triplet to ensure that he could accomplish this difficult piece. The historic performance at that time is well known. It is a gem with a stable pitch balance and light response, as well as a rich capacity to receive even firm blows.
