The basic design is the same except for the lack of Yamaha imprint on the bell. The bore size is large, but the trumpet is comfortable to blow with resistance in the front, which is unique to early custom trumpets. However, there is no impression that the point is too narrow and tight, perhaps due to the fact that the bell lacquer has been stripped off. The sound profile is mild and reachable with a tight sound.
