The light-colored varnish on the rim (not the puffing, but the literal rim) is one of the characteristics of Giorgio's work. Zurgini's creations are rooted in classical Cremona violin making, but have a distinctive appearance that is instantly recognizable, and are highly sought after in Italy, England, and the United States. This violin has a silky smoothness and a lively, rich tone.
