This is a Fuzz made by ELK, which was released around the mid-1970s, and is popular as a copy model for BIG MUFF! Early version!

It imitates the first model of the original BIG MUFF-π. In addition to the early model, "BIG MUFF SUSTAIN'A'R", there are also later individuals lettered "BIG MUFF SUSTAIN'E'R". Naturally, perhaps the exact name of the name itself caused problems, and the model name was later changed to "SUPER FUZZ SUSTAINAR." In addition to the items marked "ELK GAKKI CO.", you can see items marked "ELECTRO SOUND CO.," and non-branded items (not listed). We have also sold a large number of ELK fuzzes in the past, and although the sound impression was quite different depending on the individual product, the sound of this unit was rough, and the sound pressure and thickness were sufficient, resulting in a rich, sustainable distortion. The TONE control is a typical high-cut type. The transistors in this unit are the 2SC829, but we also found 2SA733, 2SA495, 2SA564, and 2SA564.
