Ampeg:Ampeg AEB-1 Scroll Bass
Original Scroll Bass with Mystery Pickups, 1967-1968
Scroll bass produced during the short period from 1966 to 1968
It was released at the same time as the fretless AUB-1 and has attracted numerous musicians.
The AMUB-1, manufactured from '68, was famously used by Rick Danko of The Band and Thundercat.
Piezo-type pickups are mounted, giving it the warmth of a wood bass while at the same time giving it an impressive sound that does not get buried and comes forward at full tone!
The neck has over lacquer and some paint burn, but overall, it is in very clean condition.
It is very rare to see them in the market.
If you have been looking for one for a long time, don't miss this opportunity!
