KoAloha / 2008 KSM-00
The birth of KoAloha dates back to 1995.
The founder, Alvin Okami, was originally a singer playing the ukulele in the Herb Ota Band.

He started KoAloha Ululele because of the popularity of the ukuleles he made as a hobby.
Koaloha's main features are the diaper-shaped sound hole and the head with a crown motif, don't you think?
This shape was created because it is easy to tell at a glance that you are playing a KoAloha ukulele, even from a distance.

KoAloha KSM-00 is a soprano ukulele made in 2008 with a beautifully grained Hawaiian koa veneer for the body.
The fingerboard has been changed to rosewood since 2016, but this one has the Hawaiian koa fingerboard before the specification change.

The back of the body shows evidence of a crack that was glued in, but the bright, clear sound of the KoAloha is still there.

You can enjoy the bright sound on chord strokes and the fat sound with presence on each note on solos.
