"If only I could shape my sound more freely." "I want to get exactly the tone I envision, whether in the studio or live." Every guitarist shares this obsession with sound. But with a standard electric guitar, compromises are inevitable.
What if it featured low-impedance pickups, a high/low switch, an 11-position rotary switch, and even a phase switch? And what if its body construction was uniquely crafted to impart a distinctive depth and clarity to the sound? Wouldn't that excite you?
The Les Paul Recording, produced between 1971 and 1979, is precisely the model that realized this "freedom in tone creation." Known for being a personal favorite of Les Paul himself, it's packed with designs that defied conventional wisdom. Early models featured a high/low switch, while the 11-position rotary switch allowed for precise tonal adjustments by gradually reducing the high end. The unique sound from the center position via the phase switch is also a major draw.
Furthermore, this model achieves both sonic depth and warmth through its pancake-layered body construction, featuring mahogany sandwiching maple. It exudes a truly unique presence, whether in the studio or live.
A distinctive model that makes you think, "It's so cool they came up with a guitar like this," and one that chooses its player. Yet, for those who refuse to compromise on tone creation, it will surely feel just right.
Experience this model, embodying Les Paul's dedication, for yourself. It will add new expressive possibilities to your music.
