GOAT "Blue Series" | Reproduces the Legendary ROCKMAN Sound

We’ve heard from many users about their concerns: the original units are expensive, maintenance and breakdowns are a worry, and because they’re rack-mounted, they don’t fit in a Effector board…With a compact Effector version, you can easily take it to the studio!

We’ve redesigned that iconic “ROCKMAN” circuitry and assemble it in a Japanese factory. Overcoming the original circuit’s weaknesses—such as noise reduction—TCGAKKI is taking the lead and providing full supervision to develop a new product that lets you simply enjoy the ROCKMAN sound!

To bring this project to life, under the leadership of TCGAKKIEffector Chief Sano, the TCGAKKIEffector team that created the “Sano Face”has joined forces with the domestic factory that manufactures and"G.O.A.T," which produces and sells unique and niche items, andthe engineers and domestic factories that have designedcountless legendary Effector unitshave joined forcesto forma special team.

GENERATOR

A Effector dedicated to distortion and overdrive. It features a built-in compressor and an equalizer that allows you to adjust the frequency range for optimal use with a guitar

●Distortion Harmonix: Adjusts distortion gain. A switch allows you to choose between three modes: Overdrive (Low), standard distortion (Mid), and intense distortion (High).

●Pre Dist EQ: Features three EQ bands—Bass, Mid Boost, and 2kHz—each capable of boost or cut.

●Treble Boost: Boosts only the treble range. It reproduces sounds ranging from deep, rich tones to those that are pushed to the forefront.

●CLEAN: Turning down the guitar’s volume emphasizes the clean sound.

●PHASE: Turning this switch ON creates a phase cancellation effect.

STEREO CHORUS

A chorus pedal featuring an analog BBD. It produces a sweet, soft sound and pairs exceptionally well with distorted guitars.

●Sweep Speed: Adjusts the speed of the modulation. Adjustable within a range of 0.25 Hz to 1 Hz.
●Deep Chorus: Adds a doubler effect (depth) to the chorus. The center position is the original ON state, and settings above center allow for a "deeper" sound.
●Direct Mixer: Choose from three output modes depending on your application.
●Wide Stereo: A stereo chorus that creates a wide, expansive effect through the interplay of in-phase and out-of-phase signals.
●Normal: Experience a standard stereo effect; mono output is also available. Offers a good balance of depth and width.
●Equal: Supports both stereo and mono. In stereo mode, the Sweep Speed is very fast, resulting in a shallower depth. In mono mode, the Sweep Speed is fast, producing a chorus with depth.

STEREO ECHO

This is a delay/echo unit utilizing analog circuitry. It reproduces a true stereo image in the space regardless of the setting position.

●Feedback: Sets the delay duration.
●Echo Time: Adjustable from 75–300 ms on the left and 125–500 ms on the right.
●Pan Select: Select the output mode with the switch. In the top position, the stereo signal is mixed with the mono direct signal and output. In the middle position, both the echo and direct signals are output in stereo. In the bottom position, different mixes are output from the left and right channels.
●Experience a unique echo sound via the stereo output.

SUSTAINOR

The SUSTAINOR, the most requested model since the launch of the Blue Series, is finally here! Not only does it deliver that signature drive sound, but the clean sound has also made a full comeback.

●MODE SELECT: Features two channels (CHAN A/B) that switch between DIST/EDGE/CLN/CLN2.
●DIST: Deliberately boosts midrange frequencies to deliver a powerful overdrive.
●EDGE: An overdrive tone with good sustain, featuring slightly boosted midrange frequencies.
●CLN: The overall EQ is similar to DIST and EDGE, but it delivers a clean sound with excellent sustain.
●CLN2: A natural EQ with extended high frequencies, producing a compressed, Electric Acoustic-style clean sound.
●GATE: Allows you to adjust the noise gate sensitivity. This noise gate acts only on high frequencies close to the noise frequency band. This provides a noise reduction effect without cutting off the sound.

INSTRUMENT EQUALIZER

A key feature is its highly practical design, which concentrates 7 of the 12 total bands on the MIDS—the most critical range—along with 3 bands for BASS and 2 for TREBLE. This is an excellent graphic equalizer that lets you set up and manage your ideal tone exactly as you like.

●TREBLE BAND:Controlsthe top-end frequencies at 8kHz and 16kHz.
●MID BAND:Controls thecriticalmid-range frequenciesat500, 700, 1k,1.4k, 2k, 2.8k, and 4kHz.
●BASS BAND: Controls the low-end frequencies at62, 125, and 250 Hz .
●Each EQ slideroffers12 dB of boost/cutandfeatures a center click toreturn precisely to the "0" dB setting.

ABOUT ROCKMAN

Tom Scholtz, leader of BOSTON, founded SR&D (Scholtz Research & Development) in 1980.He named the brand "ROCKMAN" and produced numerous models centered around the Effector. It is said that ROCKMAN was originally developed based on the concept of "being able to take it anywhere and enjoy playing guitar," inspired by Sony's Walkman.

Each model features a highly distinctive and original sound; in particular, the DISTORTION GENERATOR, released in 1987, reigned as the flagship model among the many ROCKMAN products. Set the distortion character with the DISTORTION HARMO-NIX and control the tone with the 3-band equalizer.

Final adjustments can be made with the pre-output treble boost. The lead boost also supports high-gain sounds. The unique distortion sound with its emphasized midrange is a hallmark of ROCKMAN.
The STEREO CHORUS is also a popular model, characterized by a flowing chorus sound that intertwines closely with the distortion. The LONG CHORUS mode, in particular, is most effective during solo playing, adding a thick, spacious effect to the distortion sound. The STEREO ECHO allows you to set the echo time yourself to create even more impact. By using different echo times for the left and right channels, it creates a unique sense of spatial depth and delivers a majestic sound. It’s a meticulously crafted echo that anyone who hears it will instantly recognize.

Ironically, in the early ’90s, the rise of digital technology led to the steady decline of the Rockman, a purely analog unit. However, its distinctive tone continues to shine with undimmed brilliance, and it still boasts a strong, loyal fan base.

In addition to the aforementioned Tom Scholz, Takahiro Matsumoto of B’z has used the preamp/multi-effect model “Sustainor” and the headphone amp model “X100” in his recordings. He also has a history of using the 1U rack-mount model “XPR” in live performances.

We have released the“GENERATOR” with its distinctive sound and distortion, the “STEREO CHORUS” withits addictive warmth and sweetness unique to analog , and the “STEREO ECHO” that exquisitely blends the left and right echo balances in the sound space—and we are now selling the “SUSTAINOR,” which was once thought impossible!

The sound you used to hear on records and CDs is brought back to life right here and now!
